Peeping Tom hid in bushes outside woman's apartment

BELLINGHAM -- A Peeping Tom pleaded guilty Thursday to filming and photographing hundreds of unsuspecting women walking around town, including one woman in her apartment, the Bellingham Herald reported.

Colin Peter Curley, 41, will serve 20 days in jail and one year in a treatment program for one count of voyeurism.

According to the Herald, a police officer spotted Curley filming a woman on the street unbeknownst to her in 2012. Curley admitted he had a fetish for filming women without them knowing, and the police officer confiscated the camera.

Police found hundreds of photos and videos of woman being filmed in public places, and one woman who was filmed inside of her apartment from bushes outside. Curley told the detectives he was "curious" about the apartment layout, the Herald reported.

Curley had previously been caught filming women in both Oregon and California.
