Welcome to September, Storms on the way.
August was wetter than normal but almost all of the rain for the month came on Just ONE day. We have now had 35 days above 80 degrees this year. (last year only 19). A nearly perfect summer in my book. It was pretty darn close to the summer of 2003 and that was the best on record. September will have some nice days but we do have some changes this week. Monday will be pretty nice with some showers around the coast and mountains but the lowlands will be O.K. Tuesday will be damp with passing showers and some thunderstorms. I’ll keep you posted on how strong these storms will be as we get closer. Wednesday looks pretty nice with some sun and highs near 77. Thursday and Friday will feel like FALL. Highs will be on the cool side with 60s. It’ll be wet Thursday and Friday too. Isolated thunderstorms these days too. Next weekend looks nice again and we will get back up to 80 by Sunday.
