New Arlington medical clinic to serve the uninsured

A new clinic that has opened in Arlington is ready to serve the thousands of people in Snohomish County that don’t have medical insurance.

The Everett Herald reports the nonprofit, 10,000 square foot facility opened on Friday, next to Cascade Valley Hospital.  It’s the newest branch of the Community Health Center of Snohomish County.

About $2.4 million was spent on remodeling the clinic.   It offers a sliding-fee scale and won’t turn anyone away due to a lack of insurance.

According to the Herald, the closest nonprofit clinic for north Snohomish County residents before this one opened was in Marysville.
