San Diego County teen Hannah Anderson was not aware that her mother and brother had been killed as she was driven across several states and into the Idaho wilderness, San Diego County Sheriff Bill Gore said today.
Gore also said that the 16-year-old girl was being held “under duress” by James Lee DiMaggio. Gore’s comments are the first definitive indication that Hannah Anderson did not accompany DiMaggio willingly.
Gore has scheduled a news conference for 2 p.m. in San Diego County. More details are expected to be released then.
