Dying toddler who served as best man at parents’ wedding dies

PITTBURGH, (Pa.) – Sad news on a toddler who touched hearts across the country. Two-year-old Logan Stevenson of Pennsylvania died Monday night in his mother’s arms.

"At 8:18 my son took his last breath in my arms," his mother, now known as Christine Swidorsky-Stevenson, wrote Monday night. "I’m so sad upset and I’m in disbelief he is with angels and he's in no more pain. No more sickness, no more hospitals."

When doctors gave the little boy weeks to live, his parents pushed up their wedding and married over the weekend so he could serve as their best man. Dressed in a tan suit and orange shirt matching his mother’s bouquet, Swidorsky-Stevenson carried him down the aisle. During the ceremony, his grandmother cradled him as he clutched his favorite teddy bear.

Logan was a fighter to the end, suffering from a rare genetic disease which led to Leukemia and tumors on his kidneys.
