lussier1SEATTLE — Armed robbery suspect Timothy Lussier apparently gave law enforcement officers the slip for a second time in a week Thursday.

The Snohomish County Violent Offender Task Froce said it found Lussier, 35, in the Kenmore area around 1 p.m. Thursday. As deputies and officers approached him, he fled in a stolen vehicle, the task force said.

There was a short pursuit southbound on 15th Avenue through Seattle’s Lake City area, the task force said. The suspect then abandoned the stolen van in the Ravenna neighborhood and fled on foot.

Seattle police joined the task force in the search, but as of 4:15 p.m., Lussier had not been found.

Last Friday night, Lussier eluded Snohomish County sheriff’s deputies when he abandoned a car at Elliott Road and Echo Lake Road near Clearview, in Snohomish County, and then fled on foot. Canine units were called in to try to track him, but without success that time, also.

The task force said he is wanted for an armed robbery in Everett in early July.

Lussier, described as 6-foot, 200 pounds, with brown hair and green eyes, is known to frequent Marysville and Gold Bar, authorities said, and is considered armed and dangerous.
