Johnny Depp may be retiring from the big screen. He hinted about taking a break for good during an interview to promote “The Lone Ranger” in the UK. When asked if there were quieter things he would rather be doing he said, “I wouldn’t mind that. I wouldn’t say I’m dropping out any second, but I would say it’s not too far away.”

Oh I knew that one day the time would come just was not expecting so soon. I remember when 21 Jump Street first came on. Look how far you have come! When I think of who is my favorite actors… are at the top! Numeral UNO! I hope time isn’t up just yet. I hope for more inspiring, mind blowing roles to keep me begging for more. It is very sad to think of you retiring and never have the chance to see you on the big screen again. But I understand. You have come to a time in your life where a different direction is needed. You will be missed! Thank you! For the laughter, the adrenaline rush on the edge of my seat, and thank you for the heart felt childhood memories brought back to life in a whole new look! Thank you!
