Video: Hot car safety tips

SEATTLE -- Earlier this week, an Issaquah man was arrested after leaving his 3-month-old in a hot car while he went grocery shopping.

A sheriff's sergeant broke the car window and rescued the child, who was overheated and lethargic and had to be taken to the hospital.

Every summer, there are incidents like this round the country.

Kristen Thorstenson, coordinator for Safe Kids Eastside, provides some safety tips.
