Car fire spreads to Fremont home

SEATTLE -- A house fire ripped through a home Tuesday night in the Fremont neighborhood of Seattle.

No injuries were reported in the fire that started around 10 p.m. in the 4100 block of 3rd Avenue NW.

According to firefighters, they arrived to find the front of the home fully engulfed in flames, and crews made an aggressive attack and were able to knock down the fire quickly. However, the fire sparked again in the attic area, and firefighters were forced to go into the home to put out the blaze.

Seattle Fire Deputy Chief Angelo Duggins said the fire may have started in a car in the driveway and extended into the home. No report on the amount of damages was immediately available, and firefighters are still investigating the exact cause of the blaze.
