84-year-old Portland man killed in crash near Olympia
OLYMPIA -- An 84-year-old Portland man was killed Wednesday when his car hit a guardrail, flipped and rolled multiple times as he was exiting Interstate 5 at the Maytown Road exit near Olympia, the Washington State Patrol said.
Theodore E. Reich, whose car was traveling northbound, was declared dead at the scene. The State Patrol said he had his seat belt on.
No one else was injured.
The Maytown Road exit ramp was closed for more than three hours.
