Sunny & hotter, and maybe an overnight thunderstorm

SEATTLE --Today will be hotter than yesterday, with highs in the upper 80s for Seattle and into the low 90s in the Cascade foothills. Even the coast will be warm, with highs in the low-to-mid 80s.

There is an area of low pressure to the south that will move over us this afternoon/evening. We'll see some clouds move in late in the day and there is a chance of a few isolated thunderstorms late tonight or overnight into tomorrow morning.

Tomorrow morning could start out with an isolated thunderstorm, then we'll clear out and warm up to the low 80s again. Thursday through the weekend, expect sunny skies with highs in the 80s. We could cool down a bit next week.
