1 dead, 5 injured in rollover crash near Stanwood

accident2STANWOOD — One person was killed and five others were injured Sunday in a rollover crash on Pioneer Highway near Norman Road, south of Stanwood, the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office said.

The conditions of the injured were not immediately released.

Snohomish County sheriff’s Lt. Jeff Brand said a Chevrolet traveling westbound on Pioneer Highway left the roadway shortly after noon and rolled over.

The cause of the accident is under investigation.
