SEATTLE — The last bit of rain for awhile is dampening our morning. This afternoon we’ll see some clearing (though there is still the chance of a shower), and top out around normal — low 70s.

Then, get ready to sing, “Here Comes the Sun!”  Here comes the heat too.

Tomorrow will be mostly sunny with highs in the low 80s. The weekend will be mainly sunny with highs in the low-to-mid 80s. Next week, through the 4th of July and beyond, it will be sunny and getting hot.

Mid-to-upper 80s for areas around Puget Sound, with areas in the Cascade Foothills and Olympia southward probably getting into the 90s. What a beginning to July this year!
