4.3-magnitude earthquake strikes north of Leavenworth

LEAVENWORTH, Wash. -- A 4.3-magnitude earthquake struck Wednesday night about 16 miles north of Leavenworth and nearly six miles deep, the U.S. Geological Survey said.

No damage was reported.

The quake struck at about 7:45 p.m. Wednesday. Some people in the Leavenworth and Chelan area said they felt it.

Viewer Rae Alohr on Facebrook wrote: "I felt it here in Cashmere. It scared me because the floor moved and the metal art piece on my wall started to vibrate....I'm glad to at least know that I wasn't losing my mind. It's been a long time since I've felt one of those."
