Molly Conley Murder: Police put out new details on drive-by shooter's vehicle

molly web   KILLERS WANTED IN LAKE STEVENS/SNOHOMISH COUNTY -- As she walked with friends along a rural road in Lake Stevens on June 1st, 15 year old Molly Conley was gunned down in a senseless, and seemingly random drive-by shooting. Detectives with the Snohomish County Sheriff's Office and Lake Stevens Police Department are seeking anyone who may have video of vehicles driving in the area during the hours of 9pm, June 1st - 6am, June 2nd. Specifically, detectives are looking for information about any black passenger vehicles that may now have front, passenger side damage. Snohomish County Lt. A.J. Bryant says, “Any help that the public can provide us with this particular incident would be really appreciated because we want to make sure we get that person and/or persons involved in custody. "The community is outraged. We're outraged. Everybody's outraged,” says Ret. Det. Myrle Carner with Crime Stoppers of Puget Sound. “So, there's a special fund set up besides Crime Stoppers. CLICK HERE for information on how to TEXT A TIP to Crime Stoppers In addition to the Crime Stoppers of Puget Sound $1,000 reward for information leading to an arrest in the murder of Molly Conley, Joe Neverkewitz has started the Lake Stevens Community Outreach Fund at Chase Bank and is collecting donations. He is guaranteeing $25,000 to add to the reward and will personally cover any shortfall. “It’s my community. I've been here a long time. I raised two kids here and it’s not gonna happen in my community," says Neverkewitz. “I have to believe there were other people in the car with the shooter, and I've got to think if that's the life they live, of popping caps and shooting kids on the side of the road, that $25,000 is a lot of money. That, hopefully, will be enough incentive to turn somebody in.” The American Legion in Lake Stevens has more than $8,895 in their Molly Conley Reward Fund which includes $2,000 from the Lake Stevens That brings the total Crime Stoppers reward for information on her killer to more than $34,000
