Joe Neverkewitz has started the Lake Stevens Community Outreach Fund at Chase Bank and is collecting donations. He is guaranteeing
$25,000 to add to the reward and will personally cover any shortfall. “It’s my community. I’ve been here a long time. I raised two kids here and it’s not gonna happen in my community,” says Neverkewitz. “I have to believe there were other people in the car with the shooter, and I’ve got to think if that’s the life they live, of popping caps and shooting kids on the side of the road, that $25,000 is a lot of money. That, hopefully, will be enough incentive to turn somebody in.”
The American Legion in Lake Stevens has more than $8,895 in their Molly Conley Reward Fund which includes $2,000 from the Lake Stevens
That brings the total Crime Stoppers reward for information on her killer to more than $34,000
