$1 million Powerball winner from Washington comes forward

OLYMPIA – A Kenmore man has claimed his $1 million Powerball prize. This stems from that record breaking $600 million jackpot drawing on May 18.

The unidentified man says he plans to take his wife and twin daughters on vacation and buy a new home. He says he’s also eager to start college funds for his girls. He will also invest in his retirement, but will continue working.

A first-time Powerball player, he says he bought the winning ticket at Sid’s Handy Mart in Bothell.
