Some holiday dry time

sunshineWe fell below the seasonal average this week due to an area of low pressure. This nasty little system disrupted our nice stretch of warmer (and dry) weather. The good news is that it’s on its way to Canada! The bad news is that its replacement is on its way here.

Timing-The next low will bring unsettled weather for our holiday weekend. If you happened to look outside today, this is what will repeat itself tomorrow. Scattered showers increase tonight and during the early morning hours Sunday, but there will be some dry time as the sunshine returns in the afternoon. Highs will be near 66. Unfortunately, the dry weather isn’t expected all day long.

Memorial Day- will see *some* rain, but mostly confined to the mountains and southern part of the state. Clouds will increase during the day ahead of a warm front that will dump fresh rain Monday night and Tuesday. The extended forecast doesn’t have a completely dry day until next weekend.
