Governor to sign education bill

SEATTLE -- Gov. Jay Inslee will sign HB 1472, a bill that allows AP Computer Science classes to be applied toward science and math graduation requirements.

Industry leaders, Brad Smith, General Counsel and Executive Vice President of Legal and Corporate Affairs at Microsoft, and Hadi Partovi, co-founder of code.org, as well as students and teachers will join the governor for the bill signing.

The signing will be held at Rainier Beach High School at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday.
