Everett reptile dealer indicted on animal-smuggling charges

Federal prosecutors have indicted a Seattle-area pet shop owner and five other men on charges of illegal animal smuggling, according to Seattlepi.com.

The man, who operates a reptile store in Everett, is accused of making more than $11,000 from shipping eastern box turtles and gila monsters to Hong Kong.  The turtles are considered vulnerable to extinction.  Learn more about the story, by clicking on this link to the SeattlePI.com.
