Feeling like summer for opening day of boating season

Get ready for a sunny and warm weekend!  A ridge of high pressure combined with a thermal trough will bring us the warmest temps of the year so far with perfectly sunny skies today through Monday.  Highs today should be about 10 degrees above normal, around 72 for Seattle.  Tomorrow, mid-to-upper 70s.  Sunday & Monday will top out near 80.  Onshore flow begins on Tuesday and we'll cool down to near 70.  It'll still be dry and at least partly sunny mid-week, with temps back downto the mid 60s.  People will be tempted to jump in the water this weekend.  Our rivers are running high, fast and VERY cold!  Please be careful and wear a LIFE VEST in a boat or near the water.  Be safe as you enjoy the weather!

Make way for ducklings! Dave & Stacy in Woodinville had quite a day when they spied this mom and her babies near their hearing aid store. They helped issue the adorable family to safety.

Trout fishing at Lake Sutherland, 15 miles west of Port Angeles. Terry sent in the photo of his son Chance with a good catch!
