SEATTLE — With images and video from the bombings at the Boston Marathon dominating the news, many parents find it hard to discuss these types of tragedies with their children.

Dr. Rebecca Barclay, a child psychiatrist at Seattle’s Children’s Hospital, on Tuesday discussed the best way to broach this sensitive topic with young ones.
