Sun and Hail this weekend

CaptureA pretty large spring storm is over us this weekend. The big story is the colder temperatures and the mountain snow. The winds will be pretty gusty too with 35 mph gusts common. There will be sunshine as well especially around Bremerton and Seattle with the rain shadow off of the Olympics. Isolated thunderstorms will be common in the afternoon hours so if you are outside and enjoying a little sun break just keep an eye to the south and if the sky starts to get dark you will go through squall shortly. Some hail possible or a clap of thunder. The mountains pick up at least 1 – 2 feet of new cold powder. Expect winter driving conditions up there. Enjoy the sun breaks when you get them.
