photo20 days into February we have only had ½” of rain. The next two days we will double that with another ½” of rain by Friday night. We will see “normal” February weather return. It’ll wet and windy Thursday and Friday. The mountains will get lots of snow with more than 30 inches headed to the ski areas. The snow level will stay low enough that the passes will be snowy. Plan on delays or closures up there through Saturday morning. Winter returns to the mountains. The lowlands will have periods of rain through Saturday morning. The breezy to gusty winds will pick up as well with gusts up to 30mph for the Metro and gusts up to 45mph for the beach and North Interior. Saturday afternoon looks pretty mellow with a few sun breaks. Walter. 2/20/13
