2013-02-03_16-11-26_137MONROE, Wash. — Two people died in a one-car collision early Sunday morning in Snohomish County.

Snohomish County sheriff’s deputies responded to calls of a one-car crash around 5:30 a.m. in the 23000 block of Sofie Road after a delivery driver spotted the wreck. Officials found two men dead in a single car at the scene. Officials said the car broke through a fence and hit a tree.

The Snohomish County Medical Examiner’s Office has not yet released the names of the victims.

Both subjects were wearing seat belts and police said speed seemed to be the leading factor in the crash. The county’s collision investigation was on the scene.

So sorry about your loss. We did not hear a crash. Some on our street heard a car speeding. We are elderly, didn't hear anything. Would have gone out if we had known.Again we are also very upset.

That's so sad, after reading, I also couldn't believe that such an accident could happen right next to a person's house and no one heard it and called 911. I have to wonder, had someone called 911 sooner, would they still be here? I'm praying for all of their family and friends to stay strong through this, while there is nothing anyone can say to make it better, it's important that their family and friends stick together. While I didn't know Sean and Ryan, may they R.I.P. <3

Too bad for the speeders but really, it's more a good thing that they only killed themselves….what if they would have hit a house? Or an oncoming car?

Its horrible, he was my neighbor and I heard the father yelling outside Sunday morning and I didn't know why. Until later I found out the news. May they rest in peace, support to both families :(
