PizzaPORT ORCHARD, Wash. — A Domino’s Pizza manager stopped an armed robber Wednesday night by grabbing the man’s gun and pulling him over the counter, the Kitsap Sun reported.

According to the Sun, a 25-year-old South Kitsap man arrived at the pizza restaurant in Port Orchard around 9 p.m. with a ski mask covering his face. The man walked to the front of the store, raised his shirt to expose a handgun and told the store manager and a female employee to “give me the money.”

Instead of handing over the money, the manager grabbed the man and pulled him over the counter, the Sun reported. He wrestled with him until police arrived.

Kitsap County sheriff’s deputies later determined the man was actually displaying an airsoft pistol, not a real gun. The suspect was taken to the hospital for minor injuries he received in the scuffle. He was later arrested and booked on suspicion of first-degree robbery. Bail was set at $200,000.

The store manager wasn’t injured, the Sun reported
