RENTON, Wash. — With thousands of fans cheering and waving 12th Man flags, the Seahawks departed Seattle Friday for their playoff game Sunday against the Atlanta Falcons.

Las Vegas listed the Falcons as 2 ½ point favorites for the game in the Georgia Dome.

Before departing Seattle, coach Pete Carroll said, “The guys are really pumped up about” Sunday’s game.

He added that the team had good practices all week and “today they’re totally into it, as they should be.  So we’ve done what needed to do at this point and it feels good.”

Just before 8:25 p.m. Friday PT, quarterback Russell Wilson tweeted: “Landed in Atlanta safely! 12th man is everywhere! Blessed to be part of the Seahawks. Go Hawks!”

Seahawks players listed as  “probable” on the injury report for Sunday’s game include two of the team’s linchpins – running back Marshawn Lynch and wide receiver Sidney Rice, who has a sore knee.

Lynch practiced on a limited basis Friday morning, after sitting out Wednesday and Thursday to rest a sprained foot. “He’s fine. He’ll be alright,” Carroll said of Lynch.

Rice did not practice Friday, but Rice is expected to be ready of the game after practicing fully on Wednesday and Thursday.

I wish someone who is going to the Atlanta airport this weekend from Washington State could ask the airport if they will search for lost luggage that belongs to Bruno Ayllon, a masters student at DigiPen Institute of Technology. He went home on Christmas break to Brazil. When he came back he had two blue suitcases. He flew Delta Airlines and they believe it is there at the airport in Atlanta. I took him to the airport in Seattle Airport today to see if they could find it there. I am a mom of a DigiPen student too. If anyone who goes to the airport in Atlanta could you please ask them to conduct a search for a blue suitcase that belongs to Bruno Ayllon. His cell number is 425-429-1070. His parents in Brazil feel helpless to help. If anyone does find it have them send it to Redmond, WA ShadowBrook apts C213 . Or just call Bruno's number and let him know if anyone finds it. He made a claim against it. But he would rather find his personal things. My name is Hilda Taylor and I live at the Colony Apartments in Redmond, WA. WW1106. I like helping students with rides to and from the airport . This afternoon we passed three buses full of the Seahawks team on the freeway. We were going the opposite way. They were headed to the airport and on thier way to Atlanta. That's where they lost Bruno's luggage.
