Twenty-seven people – 20 of them children – were killed in a school shooting Friday morning in Newtown, Conn.

Another person was found dead in Newton.

Police said the shooter, believed to be 20-year-old Adam Lanza, killed himself at the scene. The shooter was initially incorrectly identified as 24-year-old Ryan Lanza, Adam’s older brother.

A parent who was inside Sandy Hook Elementary at the time of the attack said she heard what sounded like at least 100 rounds being fired. The shootings at the school took place in two rooms, one of which is a kindergarten classroom, sources said. One entire classroom is unaccounted for.

Police have recovered two weapons from the suspect, a Glock and a Sig Sauer, the source said.

President Obama, in an emotional address to the nation Friday afternoon, said “These neighborhoods are our neighborhoods, and these children are our children.”

In his deeply personal problems he has projected his fragmented internal world upon the innocent thinking in emergent properties of the chemicals of his brain that is conscious is now dead with the brain, the soul or energy that is left is not eternally dead too. No moving to a higher plain of existence for him, he is left behind on the eternal quest for higher existence.

Just one more thing. Wasnt trying to attack anyone just trying to open some eyes. Oh and by the way Its real easy for children to get alcohol at your local super market. Yes i know more to cry about. But its the truth.

I agree this is a tragety, however if this upset you and now the issue of gun control tryin to use this as an excuse to disarm americains. Well this shoul bring you to tears too. 20 children died by an iddiot with a gun. Today 1,095 Men Women and CHILDREN in the US died. 400,000 people a year die from ALCOHOL related deaths . a good percentage larger than 20 children a day and thats every day , which is just as tragic. We dont see anyone trying to ban alcohol or cryin and rivers over the deaths of thoes children. Now there is something to cry about.

The man who did the killing was mentally ill. Instead of his mother protecting him and every other innocent person she chose her money over life. I don't know if God forgave him for what he did but when the mother put a gun in her mentally sick sons hand to protect her money then she was the sick and the guilty person. The blood of those innocent children and adults are on her.
You are also right about the innocent people being killed from alcohol however to me even worse is the innocent children who lose their lives at the hands of parents, foster parents, boyfriends and even mothers. Guns is not our problem. Taking care of the mentally ill is our problem!
