Storm after storm heads in

Snowing hard in the passes this evening. Gusty winds for the lowlands. Passing heavy showers (most on the eastside). Wednesday, passing showers, chilly start. More snow on the passes. Wednesday afternoon we dry up and it’ll be dry Wednesday night. Thursday starts out dry and COLD but ends up wet and windy again. Heavy mountain snow Thursday night. Friday, passing showers, chilly start. More snow on the passes. Friday afternoon we dry up and it’ll be dry Friday night. Saturday, starts out dry and COLD but ends up wet and windy again. Heavy mountain snow Saturday night. The Ski areas will get several FEET by Sunday. Do you see a pattern here?!

So a lot of talk about “LOWLAND” snow Sunday morning. This is what I see today. Sunday Morning, Cold enough for snow down low. Snow sticks to the roads above 1000 feet. Snow showers possible for higher hills, IE, Sammamish Plateau, North Bend, Tiger Mountain, Skykomish, Enumclaw, Hood Canal. Right now, it doesn’t look like it will stick around past morning but I’ll keep my eye on it and updates to follow. 12/11/12. Walter
