Bio

Ashley-V3My name is Ashley and I’m the 4 p.m. News Producer at Q13 FOX News.

I was born in Seattle and attended Cascade High School in Everett. I’m a diehard WSU Coug and a very proud alum with a bachelor’s degree in Communications, with an emphasis on Broadcast News.

After college I started out working as an intern at KAPP-TV in Yakima, Wash. Shortly after that, I moved to Northern California and worked as an associate producer and later as a producer at KOVR 13 CBS. In 2003, I moved to Oklahoma City and worked as a producer at KFOR Newschannel 4. In early 2004, I moved back to Washington and got a job at Q13 FOX News.

I’ve worked many shifts at Q13 FOX, including a 6-month stint as a writer on the 10 p.m. show and 7 ½ years as a producer on Q13 FOX News This Morning.

In June 2011, I helped to launch our first early evening newscast, Q13 FOX News at Five. I also had the great honor of being awarded “Employee of the Year” in January 2012. In March 2012, I helped to launch our second early evening newscast, Q13 FOX News at Four and now produce this one-hour weekday show that is comprised of the local and national news.

I’m a huge fan of anything Disney and when my husband and I have time off it’s usually a safe bet that you can find us at Disneyland.

I’m an animal lover and mama to two amazing labs and a very feisty cat. I’m also a lefty and obsessed with the color red.
