Bio

Q13 FOX News Sports Director

I started working at Q13 FOX News in March 2007 and now, as the Q13 FOX Sports Director, I  anchor the nightly sportscasts and host Q It Up Sports, Seahawks Saturday Night and Seahawks Gameday.

Before moving to Seattle, I worked at KBAK (CBS) in Bakersfield, Calif., where I spent 2-½ years as a sports anchor and reporter, covering five minor-league sports teams, 24 high schools, and Division I-bound Cal State Bakersfield. I was the national runner-up on ESPN’s “Dream Job” show in the 2003-2004 search to find the next SportsCenter anchor. I also graduated from Stanford University.

In my spare time, I enjoy playing golf, working out and meeting new people. I’m hopeful that my beloved Dodgers will someday meet the Mariners in the World Series and I’m not worried about the internal dilemma it might cause.

What keeps me going

Being immersed in the local sports scene is way too fun. Watching our local teams build from the ground up and become contenders on the national scene is extremely rewarding. Plus, the ability to write a weekly commentary on a hot-button sports issue is exciting and challenging.

I give back to my community by

Taking part in many charity functions, contributing to The First Tee of Greater Seattle as a board member and helping plan the annual Seattle Sports Commission “Sports Star of the Year Awards.”

My greatest TV moment…

Singing the UW fight song, despite being tone deaf.

The TV moment I’d like to forget
