  • Woman pulled from fiery DUI wreck

    LAKE FOREST PARK — Police blame a suspected drunk driver for a fiery wreck in Lake Forest Park Sunday. The semi-truck smashed so hard into the back of a Honda sedan, the car caught fire in the intersection near 170th St and Bothell Way.   • Hungry fill Union Gospel Mission for Christmas dinner

    SEATTLE — Roughly 600 people enjoyed their Christmas dinner at the Union Gospel Mission in Pioneer Square Wednesday night. It took 25 turkeys and 30 volunteers to create a delicious dinner for those in need of a hot meal.   • Drunk driving suspect arrested for vehicular assault on I-5

    FEDERAL WAY — Washington State Patrol troopers said a rollover crash on I-5 in Federal way Sunday night is being investigated as a felony hit-and-run. Investigators said a truck rolled off the freeway and landed on S 288th St., near Military Rd., around 7 p.m. The driver ran off after the crash leaving two people trapped inside the truck. Police later caught and arrested the owner of the truck for vehicular assault, felony hit-and-run, and DUI.

    SEATTLE —  If you have packaged salad in the refrigerator, don’t eat it until you check the label.   A recall has been issued after three people became sick with E. coli in Western Washington. Glass Onion Catering out of California is recalling ready to eat grilled chicken salads and sandwich wraps over possible E. coli contamination. The company is also pulling products containing ham.
