Man shot, dog killed during home invasion robbery in Seattle

SEATTLE -- A man and a dog were shot during a home invasion robbery Sunday night in Seattle's Judkins Park neighborhood.

Seattle police say robbery detectives are investigating after witnesses called 911 around 9:30 p.m. to report masked men had forced their way into the home on 29th Avenue S.

Officers heard multiple gunshots in the area. When they arrived at the home, they found a man who had been shot twice and a dog that was killed.

Medics took the man to Harborview Medical Center. His injuries were not life-threatening, officials said.

Police were not able to find any suspects.
