Escort charged, accused of shooting Everett man for perfoming sex act 'wrong'

EVERETT, Wash. — Authorities say a western Washington woman working as an escort told police she shot a man in the back of the head because he was performing a sex act wrong.

The Daily Herald reports that 21-year-old Marissa Elizabeth Wallen of Mount Vernon was charged Friday with first-degree assault and first-degree robbery in Snohomish County Superior Court.

Prosecutors say Wallen shot the 36-year-old Everett man on Oct. 21 and took his wallet, spending $12,000 using his credit cards in Skagit County in the days after the shooting.

The man was found in his apartment three days after the shooting unable to speak with bullets in his brain.

Authorities say Wallen had visited the man nearly a half dozen times in the month leading up to the shooting.
