Two men shot, wounded in drive-by near Federal Way bus stop

FEDERAL WAY, Wash. -- Police say two men were injured in a drive-by shooting in broad daylight Thursday in Federal Way.

At 12:34 p.m., officers were called to the report of shots fired near South 288th Street and Pacific Highway South, according to Federal Way Police spokesperson Cathy Schrock.

Schrock said three men in their 20s were near a bus stop when an older white 4-door sedan approached and fired several shots at the victims. Two of the three men were shot.

Police said their injuries do not appear to be life-threatening.

No further details or suspect descriptions were immediately released. The investigation is ongoing.

Schrock said there was a minor traffic impact due to the closure at 18th Avenue South and South 288th Street.

Q13 News has a crew headed to the scene to gather more information.
