West Valley Highway blocked in Algona for deadly crash investigation
ALGONA, Wash. -- Deputies shut down a portion of West Valley Highway in Algona on Monday to investigate a deadly crash.
Few details were immediately available, but King County sheriff's deputies said the highway was closed between 1st and 3rd after a car crashed into a utility pole.
One person died at the scene of the crash and a second person was taken with unknown injuries to Valley Medical Center.
It was unclear what led to the crash. No further information has been given.
