Video shows vandal smashing Oregon girl's snowmen

TUALATIN, Ore. -- A Christmas crime caught on camera. Someone destroyed a little girl's snowmen in Tualatin, Oregon.

David Parrish and his 9-year-old daughter Adeline say they spent a few hours making the two snowmen in their yard, and when they woke up, their creations were destroyed.

Parrish looked on his home surveillance video and found this: A person jumping out of a car, knocking over the snowmen, and taking off.

"It's disappointing that there's people out there that just want to destroy things," he said.



"I'm mad because it wasn't their snowmen," Adeline said. "If it was their snowmen, I would be fine with it because they destroyed their own, but they didn't spend two hours on it, they didn't spend all the time on it, we did."

Parrish said he understands there is nothing police can do, but he just hopes someone recognizes the person responsible and they realize what they did was wrong.
