More rain showers today with a chance of flurries overnight

SEATTLE -- Sunday temperatures are above freezing and expected to be 39°-44° for highs. Rain showers will continue throughout the day and into the night.

A wind shift near 7 p.m. to north/northeasterly will activate a Wind Advisory for Island county and Western Whatcom county as sustained wind builds to 30mph and gusts 40 to 50mph.
The northeast wind will pull very cold air through the Fraser valley and change rain to snow in Bellingham and eventually Port Angeles tonight.

The air will begin to dry overnight but the boundary pushing south may cause a stripe of snow through a convergence zone first.

According to most recent weather models, the stripe of snow will be across southern King county to Lewis county by 8 a.m. Monday, trace to one inch is an estimated amount of snow by 10 a.m.

Dry weather hits Monday through Friday but the price of sunshine is a cold stretch of weather with freezing low temperatures in the teens and 20s, high temperatures in the low to mid-30s.
