Spinouts, crashes force brief closure of EB I-90 over Snoqualmie Pass

NORTH BEND, Wash. -- Snow flurries in the lowlands Monday morning meant heavy snow in the mountains.

Troopers shut down the eastbound lanes of Interstate 90 over Snoqualmie Pass in the morning because of multiple spinouts and collisions. The road was back open around 10:30 a.m.

Traffic was stopped at milepost 47 near Tinkham Road.

Traction tires are required both directions.
