Man found shot dead in car outside Edmonds home

EDMONDS, Wash. -- Deputies are investigating a shooting that left a man dead outside of an Edmonds home.

Detectives remained at the scene Tuesday morning and police are still looking for the person who shot and killed a man in a car.

Authorities were called around 11 p.m. Monday to 56th Ave. W near Meadowdale Park for the report of shots fired. One of the calls to 911 came from a woman who lived in the home down a long driveway telling dispatchers that a man in a car had been shot several times and killed.

Deputies searched the area and used a K9 to search for any possible suspects, but no arrests have been made.

56th Ave. W will be closed as detectives continue to investigate.
