Happy Thanksgiving! It's going to wet and windy for most of the day...

SEATTLE -- It's going to be sloppy through the holiday, Q13 Chief Meteorologist Walter Kelley said Wednesday night.

"Early Thursday will be windy with gusts over 35 mph. The strongest winds will be north of Everett and at the coast," Kelley said. "Everyone will be wet with more than a half-inch of rain."

The mountains will get at least 5 inches of snow on the mountain passes but the ski areas pick up 1 to 2 feet of the sweet fluff.

Friday will have passing showers with a few sun breaks and it stays gusty, he said. More snow on the passes.

Saturday and Sunday look fairly quiet with more dry periods than wet ones.

The Apple Cup forecast in Pullman calls for a high near 43 degrees with a few passing showers.

Enjoy the holiday.
