Crystal Mountain Resort set to open Friday, but operations limited

SEATTLE -- The Crystal Mountain Resort announced Tuesday that will be opening Friday with limited operations for skiing and snow boarding.

It said the Gondola will be operating to the mountaintop, with skiing in Green Valley using the Green Valley high-speed chair.

At the base, it said, the Discovery beginner chair will be open on a snow base supplied by snowmaking machines.

Ski and board rentals will be available, with instructors standing by, the resort said.

Tickets: Adults 16-69 $55, Youth 11-15 & Senior 70+ $45, Kids 0-10 Free

Discovery (Beginner ticket) $39

Scenic Gondola $22 Adults 16-69, Youth 11-15 & Senior 70+ $17, Kids 0-10 $5

Hours: Mt. Rainier Gondola 9am-3pm (last upload 2:30pm, last download 3:00pm)

Green Valley Express 9am-2:30pm, Discovery 9am-3pm

Services: Rental Center, Snowsports School, Bootworks and Right Angle Sports will all be OPEN

Food Service: Cascade Grill, Chinook Cafe, Summit House and the Bullwheel will all be OPEN
