Documents: 'Deadliest Catch' star suffered broken skull

EVERETT, Wash. — Court documents say a man who stars in the hit reality TV series "Deadliest Catch" was strangled and suffered a fractured skull during a robbery.

The Daily Herald reports that 33-year-old Jake Harris also had brain swelling, broken blood vessels in his eyes and bruising from something his assailant apparently wrapped around his throat.

Harris reportedly told police that he and others were in a car coming back from a casino last Saturday when a man sitting behind him began to choke and beat him. He'd met the woman and man while gambling the day before.

Harris was found later alongside an Everett road.

Police say Harris told officers his wallet and $2,400 was missing.

Amanda Ritter and Jorel Fultz were arrested in Spokane Tuesday on suspicion of robbing him.

Everett is about 30 miles north of Seattle.
