Tom Brady mocks Deflategate in Foot Locker ad

NEW YORK -- Tom Brady has finally lightened up about Deflategate.

In a new Foot Locker ad, the QB mocks the scandal about the deflated footballs that the Patriots used during the AFC Championship Game in January 2015. Brady was implicated in the incident, and an NFL investigation found that he "was aware of and took steps to support" deflating the balls. He was suspended for four games at the start of the 2016-2017 season but maintains his innocence.

In the commercial, two young men walk into a diner while praising Foot Locker's "Week of Greatness" sale.

The fifth annual sale features tons of new shoe releases.

When the men start to question how Foot Locker can have such a great sale year after year and wonder what the company's up to, Brady jumps in.

"That's an unfortunate mindset you got there," Brady interjects. "Just because something's great year after year doesn't mean anything's going on. Why can't some things just be great?"

Brady continues his rant as the two young men stare in disbelief.

"Starts with questions and then questions turn into assumptions and then assumptions turn into -- vacations," Brady said, referring to the trip he took to Italy while he was suspended.

"Why would you punish the 'Week of Greatness' for something that never even happened?" Brady says before storming out of the restaurant.
