The Schools Superintendent Debate: Reykdal vs. Jones

SEATTLE – Many know that long-time Schools Superintendent Randy Dorn is stepping down after 8 years on the job.  He has been loud and often controversial advocate for public education.

In the race to replace Dorn are two relative newcomers who hope to display the same energy as Dorn, but who also  hope to show more focus in getting the legislature to increase funding for schools

Erin Jones is a school administrator and formerly worked at OSPI.  Chris Reykdal (D-Tumwater) is a member of the State House.

Both candidates sat down recently with C. R. Douglas to debate the issues surrounding their race.
