VIDEO: Bobby Wagner admits ‘a lot of areas’ where Seahawks need to improve, but no worries
SEATTLE — Seahawks middle linebacker Bobby Wagner said Thursday the team still has “a lot of areas” where it needs to improve, but that he’s not worried how the season is going. “We’re still at a good spot,” he said of the team being atop the NFC West.
“I personally believe you want to hit your stride towards the end of the year,” he said, adding that a lot of teams hit their peak early in the season and then fall off.
In an interview with Q13 Sports Director Aaron Levine, Wagner was asked if he considers himself the best middle linebacker in the NFL. “I mean, consider myself that way,” Wagner replied. “You have to feel that way” to compete against other NFL players.
The Seahawks host the Buffalo Bills on a Monday night game. The Hawks have won 10 straight games under the lights on Monday nights.
Wagner said he enjoys playing night games because it reminds him of his high school ‘Friday night lights’ games.
