North Bend man arrested after pointing gun at noisy children, cops say

NORTH BEND, Wash. -- A man is in police custody after witnesses say he pointed a gun at children for making too much noise.

Snoqualmie police say they received a call around 10 p.m. Wednesday.

Police say after pointing the gun at the kids, the man went back into his apartment, got into an argument with his girlfriend and fired two shots into the floor.

Nobody was hurt, but the man stayed barricaded inside his apartment with the gun for several hours.

Police say eventually he passed out after being intoxicated, giving his girlfriend the chance to grab the gun and throw it out of the apartment so police could move in and arrest him.
