SEATTLE — A 27-year-old Renton man was arrested Thursday night for the shooting of two men in Shoreline a day before, the King County Sheriff’s Office said.

The man was arrested at about 8:30 p.m. Thursday at his parents’ home in the 18600 block of 109th Avenue SE, the sheriff’s office said.

The shooting occurred on Wednesday just before 4:30 p.m. in the 300 block of NE 151 Street in Shoreline. Two men were shot by the suspect in the front yard of the house at that location. A witness told police that the suspect was known to the victims.

Earlier Thursday, the suspect’s vehicle was found, unoccupied, in the 17600 block of 109th Ave SE in Renton, which is a few blocks from the suspect’s parents’ house. Detectives watched the house and determined the suspect was inside. The suspect was arrested without incident and will be booked into the King County Jail, the sheriff’s office said.

The victims of the shooting are both in critical condition at Harborview Medical Center.
