WASHINGTON — It was a thrilling night for the Obamas as they celebrated their final Halloween at the White House Monday with a flashmob dance to Michael Jackson’s ‘Thriller.’

The president and first lady handed out goodies, and visitors got to walk through a storybook-themed lawn. It featured decorations inspired by classic tales like Peter Pan and the Wizard of Oz.

“On this day at least, you don’t have to pay attention to Michelle and health eating,” the president joked to the crowd. “And, in fact, the more candy, the later you eat the candy, the better … because I think that you being up all night with a sugar rush is exactly what your parents are looking for.”

More than 4,000 attended the White House for Halloween this year.
