Four hurt in overnight crash in Bremerton

BREMERTON, Wash. -- Police in Bremerton have reopened the Warren Ave bridge after a crash that sent four people to the hospital.

Police say a speeding Chrysler headed south across the bridge lost control and hit a Pontiac headed the same way around 12:30 a.m. Monday.

Both drivers and two passengers were injured. The passenger in the Pontiac was airlifted to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle.

Ambulances took the other three to local hospitals for treatment of minor injuries.

Investigators believe speed and alcohol may have been factors. The investigation is ongoing.
